Innovative solutions, new technologies, and additive manufacturing processes will be financed with 500 thousand euros under the LILIAM project -Lifelong Learning in Additive Manufacturing in the Kic Raw Materials framework that encourages innovative solutions for mining, processing, recycling, and reuse of raw materials in the Union.

This strategic European project represents a great chance to enhance the investment of Trentino in the Prom Facility division in Trentino Sviluppo. Among other EU partners, HIT-Hub Innovazione Trentino participates in this project coordinated by Trentino Sviluppo. The innovation cluster of mechatronics of Trentino represents, in fact, one of the most relevant key player in the 3D printing area.

Thanks to the LILIAM project, experts and professionals, from workers and technicians to researchers and engineers could be selected to take part in highly specialised training periods throughout the EU. These regions include Walloon (Belgium), Lombardy (Italy), South Holland (The Netherlands), Rhône alps (France), Aragon (Spain), Tampere (Finland), and Saxony (Germany). LILIAM certainly constitutes a unique opportunity of growth and development for both professionals and European SMEs symbolising the new 4.0 industry.

This project is headed by the Vanguard Initiative. Our Province, with HIT-Hub Innovazione Trentino, takes part in it due to the support of the EU Liaison Office of the Autonomous Province of Trento in Brussels.
